SOCIAL BEHAVIORAL CHANGES OF THE RURAL FAMILY IN CORONA PANDEMIC IN NEW VALLEY GOVERNORATE

Abstract

The research aimed to: identify the level of changes that occurred in the social behaviors of the rural family in light of the spread of the Corona pandemic in the New Valley Governorate, identify the level of awareness and awareness, the health safety and preventive practices for the rural family. Test the significance of differences in the average scores of the respondents in the social behavioral changes before and after the spread of the pandemic Corona. Identify the factors affecting the social behavioral changes of the rural family in light of the spread of the Corona pandemic. Measuring the effects of the spread of the Corona pandemic. The study was conducted on a random sample of 110 rural families in the villages of Nasser Al-Thawra and Jinnah in New Valley Governorate, Egypt. The data were analyzed by: frequencies and percentages, weighted mean, Friedman's one-way of variance test and Step Wise. The research indicate to: There are significant differences between the average scores of the respondents before and after the spread of the Corona pandemic at the level of 0.01 in: family communication, social communication, entertainmen activities, and total social behavioral changes in favor of the situation before the spread of the Corona pandemic, the level of electronic communication in favor of the situation after the spread of the Corona pandemic, while no significant differences in consumer behavior. It also indicated to the level of health safety and preventive practices, the level of awareness and awareness of coexistence with the Corona virus, contribute positively by 14.9% and 5.7%, respectively, in explaining the total variation in the level of social behavioral changes in light of the spread of the Corona pandemic.
