ROLE OF CUSTOMARY JUDICIARY IN SETTLING DISPUTES IN NORTH SINAI

Abstract

This research aimed to identify some of the personal, social and economic characteristics of the respondents in the study area, and to identify some of the social and economic variables associated with the customary judiciary’s treatment of blood issues in the study area, and to identify the obstacles facing the customary judiciary in the study area. In Bir Al-Abed District and in Al-Arish District, it amounted to (100) females from Bir Al-Abed District, and (100) females from Al-Arish District, thus the total sample of the study amounted to (200) females. The datawas cosected During January and February 2021 AD. In describing and displaying the data, the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequencies, percentages, Pearson's simple correlation coefficient ware used, and the Ka2 coefficient was used. It was also found that more than half of the study sample (65%) suffer from spatial isolation to a high degree, and the results showed that half of the study sample (50%) of the total respondents had a low degree of participation in development activities, while it became clear that half of the study sample (50%) of the total respondents adhere to their Sinai habits to a high degree.
