Abstract

The study generally aimed to shed light on digital transformation and the extent of its impact on journalism in general and national newspapers in particular. The problem of the study was that despite the success achieved by digital transformation in the field of news broadcasting, it had a negative impact on national newspapers and caused the distribution rate to decline from The bad gets worse, and this puts the national newspapers in grave danger and almost ends a historical heritage that we all grew up with, and it has become an indispensable way of life and thought. This study belongs to the descriptive studies that study a specific phenomenon. The study relies on the media survey approach, and the study relied on the questionnaire tool. For journalists working in Egyptian press institutions, the study sample amounted to about (151) individuals. The study recommends the need to emphasize the importance of exchanging information about societal problems and resources in order to improve the quality of services provided in press institutions, and the need to emphasize the importance of delegating powers and powers to employees of press institutions in order to improve Performance, and the need to emphasize the importance of investing in the financial and human resources of journalistic institutions in order to improve digital transformation.
